Position: SharePoint- Enterprise Architect Duration: 6 Months. Location: Rahway, NJ. Complete JD: Enterprise Level Responsibility: Ø Work with project and technology leadership team to understand Business drivers and Enterprise level IT strategy and incorporating them into IT governance model for the development teams to work within. Ø Develop a good understanding of Sharepoint design patterns and framework implemented across programs and consistently strive for frameworks/solution components reuse. Ø Should have the ability to perform quick technical assessment of the current technology/solution landscape, alignment with enterprise objectives, constraints and limitations. Solutioning Responsibilities: Ø Understand project objectives, functional requirements, validate the feasibility of core functional expectations and aid business fine tune requirements to maximize the utilization of Sharepoint capabilities and out-of-the-box components. Ø Author high level design and participate in the capacity of approving authority in low level design session with development teams. Ø Demonstrated ability to engage in review of implementation options, suggest relevant alternatives, perform code review of core components. Ø Author architectural guidelines based on Sharepoint best practices and champion its adoption across technical and business teams. Ø Ability to mentor developers through enterprise custom application developments of the Sharepoint Object Model. Ø Define, validate and document non-functional requirements that would enable the solution to operate within acceptable levels of capacity, performance and security. Support Responsibilities: Ø Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of web portal servers, equipment, and software. Ø Provide support for backup and disaster recovery Technical Proficiency: Ø 15 years of overall IT development experience in Microsoft object oriented technologies. Ø Knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), SharePoint Portal Server 2003, SharePoint Portal Server 2001, SharePoint Team Services. Ø Assist development team resolve design problems, reviewing and approving recommended solutions and has extensive hands on experience in MOSS Error Tracing, Web Parts, Event Handlers, Site Definitions, Workflows. Ø Knowledge of Active Directory, Load balancing, clustering, enterprise networking and storage, and provide recommendations on overall infrastructure configurations. Ø Strong working knowledge of technologies such as XML/XSLT, .NET Framework, web services, and InfoPath Ø 6 years of hands-on development experience with § .NET Framework § ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> § C#, Visual Basic .NET § Microsoft SQL Ø Demonstrated ability to lead consultants in various project work streams Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables.
