Currently, client s suite of products provides a web-based solution for our customers where much of the business logic is client-specific and resides in our database. client is looking to move it’s current product set into the next generation of technologies including an N-tiered architecture, advanced Web presentation, generic functionality as opposed to client-specific functionality, a transition to a operational/reporting database type of setup, and a more robust integration process with our clients. This position with include the oversight of this re-design including technology-stack selection and buy vs. development decisions. This person must possess an unusually broad range of business and technical skills as well as significant depth in multiple information technology disciplines. This person must also have had extensive experience with web-based, N-tiered, data driven architectures. Finally, this individual were be responsible for helping to determine the day-to-day architecture discipline on the project, including standards, best-practices, and adherence to specified policies and processes. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience - A minimum of 15 years of experience in application development, infrastructure administration, database administration as well as proven knowledge of system integration, and systems architecture - A minimum of 10 years of experience in understanding and following a structured software development methodology, with an emphasis on the Agile methodology (client’s current methodology) - A minimum of 10 years of experience implementing N-tiered Architectures, preferably with experience using various off-the-shelf products vs. build-it-yourself - Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) preferred - Strong technical skills in NET - Strong technical skills in networking, server & storage administration Strong technical skills in relational databases, specifically Oracle and data modeling *Thanks & Regards,* *Prasanna* *Crescent IT Solutions* *www.crescentitsolutions.com* *Ph: 713-589-5425* *[email protected]* -- Subscription settings: http://groups.google.com/group/tek-professionals/subscribe?hl=en
