*REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 18 months Finance Domain Experience Preferred *Programming Languages* – Java, C/C++. Alternate JVM languages and scripting languages a plus. • Programming Genres -- Server-Side JSE, Web and UI, Database • Platforms -- Linux/Unix, Windows • Familiarity with Networking Concepts and Protocols • Technologies – RDBMS, Maven and Ant, Spring Framework, Application Servers and Web Servers • Message middleware – Preferably familiar with TIBCO Rendezvous, IBM LLM and 29West LBM • Modeling -- UML (Component, Class, Sequence, State, Stack) and Visio • Teamwork --Collaboration with team members, development teams and enterprise architects • Leadership Qualities -- Effective delegation, ability to motivate others, ability to lead by example • Teaching Ability • Track record of successful project execution *Mandatory Day-to-day responsibilities will include modeling current and future applications and systems, defining and documenting the software architecture, and training internal and external partners on the technologies and applications involved. In addition, the architect will work closely with project teams, helping to solve technical challenges, and providing up-front work on solutions with practical application in near-term projects.
