Design of systems from a network component level to solve a customer’s business needs 2. Lead in the development of network requirements, architectural designs, system functional specifications, interface specifications, test specifications, and technical reports 3. Provide guidance to installation teams and field engineers 4. Develop and perform training to customer network and communications teams 5. Monitor system performance using dashboards and network monitoring applications 6. Investigate and resolve network performance issues Skills required: Experience—requires 6-10 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with mesh and point-to-point RF communications networks as well as protocols such as ZigBee. Ability to quickly analyze and adapt to changing wireless standards. Working knowledge of RF and wireless networking system concepts including network stacks (especially the PHY and MAC layers), protocols, layered software architectures, RF path loss, interference, etc. Working knowledge of RF test tools (protocol and signal analyzers, simulators, etc.) and setups to test performance, interference, etc. Experience performing analysis in the field and in RF screen rooms and anechoic chambers helpful. Experience with data and network security implementation such as encryption engines, network security and link keys, security trust centers, etc. GIS experience using ESRI, Map Info or toolsother Must be able to work independently or as a member of a cross-functional team; to multi-task and do what it takes to meet high expectations and tight deadlines. Will be working on highly visible projects in high-pressure situations Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with different design and test groups, marketing, product management, other vendors, and customers. * * Thanks!!
