Position: Manual Tester
Location: Los Angeles CA
Duration: 6 months
Client is looking for a Manual tester, not automated.
Job Requirement:
a.. Client is looking for a Manual tester, not automated.
b.. All types of testing need to be done ie: functional, regression, etc.
c.. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test
casts.
d.. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality
assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
e.. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of
software testing experience.
f.. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
Familiar with NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments.
g.. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs
a variety of tasks.
h.. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
i.. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Skills Required:
a.. Strong verbal and written communication (the candidate will interact with
all levels of the organization)
b.. This is an extremely fast paced environment, the candidate MUST know how
to be resourceful.
c.. They MUST how ''how'' to escalate issues and ''when'' to escalate issues.
d.. They MUST possess solid QA analytical skills.
