We are seeking a SQL Developer - Application DBA to join our dynamic team in
PA. The team is engaged in supporting day to day IT operations as well as
transitioning IT applications and services from the acquisition of Delaware
Investments into the it’s platform. This position would be to provide
back-up on day-to-day IT responsibilities so that the existing resource has
time to work on transition activities.
*Key responsibilities include:*
• Work with current IT Application Manager responsible for Actuate and
Actuate Developers to:
a. Document current applications and processes at the level necessary
to take responsibility for day to day IT operations and or IT requests in
the assigned area(s).
b. Understand the current technical and business environment to provide
seamless support and development within existing applications and processes.
c. Support and trouble-shoot Actuate development and production
software, environment and processes
*We are seeking an individual who possesses at least 4 years of the
following knowledge and skills:*
• SQL scripts for Sybase and SQL Server databases
• Actuate development in version 7.2 or higher
• Familiarity with Actuate APIs
• iServer Administration
• Implementation of iPortal/Active Portal/Report Cast
• Strong communication skills
• Best practice development principles

b. Source Code Management
c. Documentation and Comments
d. Release Managemen
e. Unit Testing
