In addition the candidate will be required to gain knowledge of the existing system and product lines in order to support the system and controllers who use it. -The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the team, with a mix of both a functional and a technical aspects and the opportunity to learn the business from experts. -This is a developer role and candidates would expect to spend much of their time on code development activities, working with the technology teams and technical architects globally. However, the role also requires a significant amount of functional and technical analysis, working closely with the Controllers user group in order to gather requirements and produce designs. The remainder of the time would be spent on supporting new and existing applications. In addition, candidates will be involved in first line user support. *MANDATORY (The following technical skills are considered mandatory )* -ESSBASE: entry-level to 5 years -Working knowledge of Relational databases and SQL -Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition(OBIEE) -Practical and proven technical design and systems analysis skills, backed up by real-project implementation experience using ESSBASE, EIS, database architecture and modelling. -Experience of working in Unix/Linux environment -Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university The successful candidate will also: -Demonstrate strong problem solving & analytical skills.
