Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst/Keller Tx/18 Months
Location: Keller, TX *(LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

One of our top clients, a prestigious financial services company located in
Keller, TX has a need for a Sr. QA Analyst, for a long-term 18-month
contract with the possibility of conversion.

The Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst will work with other Analysts to ensure
that the systems meet specified standards and requirements.

·         This individual will be an experienced contributor in the Quality
Assurance process including:

o        Test planning and preparation,

o        Generating test cases and scripts,

o        Reporting upon and coordinating test environments and activities,

o        Execution of test scripts,

o        Recording results in a defect tracking tool,

o        Providing general mentoring on sound testing practices.

o        Will be a team player and work well with technical and
non-technical professionals in a project environment.

*Requirements: *

·         B.S. in Computer Science/Finance/related degree or equivalent
experience.

·         5 years of IT experience with competency to work at the highest
Quality Assurance level of all phases of system testing (must have backend
and manual testing experience).

·         Experienced in the QA lifecycle.

·         Proficiency in SQL (2 years experience doing queries, data
manipulation, reading data models, navigating in relational databases).

·         Fundamental knowledge of Unix (i.e. logon, change directories,
understand VI Editor).

·         Experience with Mercury Test Director, QTP, Quality Center, Load
Runner. Prefer knowledge of Performance Monitoring tools: Wily InterScope.
BMC products, such as MainView / AppTune.

·         XML (preferably FIXML) experience.

·         Experience in the financial markets (options, derivatives,
trading, collateral) industry.

·         Ability to communicate clearly/efficiently with users, management
and staff.

·         Ability to prioritize and coordinate across multiple departments.
