Position: BI Developer
Location: Omaha NE
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Job Requirement:
a.. Strong SQL / BI Developer for a large client in the healthcare insurance.
b.. Candidate must have strong experience actually creating OLAP cubes
manually and a strong background in SQL development.
c.. Must have MDX, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
experience. SSRS and SSAS are also needed.
d.. Develop BI solutions which may include reports, OLAP Cubes and Data
Mining, dashboards and scorecards.
e.. Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
f.. Develop multidimensional structures such as MOLAP, ROLAP and HOLAP
g.. Develop T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, user defined functions, rdls,
C# scripts, MDX, DMX and triggers, etc. for business logic implementation
Knowledge of multidimensional structures such as MOLAP, ROLAP and HOLAP
h.. Experience in developing T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, user defined
functions, views, rdls, C# scripts, MDX, DMX and triggers Knowledge of data
warehouse concepts such as, Dimensional Modeling, Fact Tables and Third
Normal/Star/Snowflake Schemas
i.. Experience in using Reporting Services 2005/2008, and Analysis Services
2005/2008 Performance Tuning of run time code
j.. Develop and maintain BI Solutions user interfaces Troubleshoot BI
solutions and find errors in coding Setting up connectivity to data source
k.. Work with Business Intelligence Analysts and business user to define
technical requirements, architecting and developing solutions and solution
testing
l.. Work with other technical IT resources to develop BI solutions and best
practices
m.. Work with DBA, ETL administrator, Mid Tier Services for on-going
application support
n.. Analyzing data in multiple environments (pre and post ETL) Ensure BI
solutions are consistent with business rules Follow best practices for the
environment as set up by the Administrators which include but are not limited
to: Change control process Documentation process Code/Peer Review Code
development Optimization standards
