*Requirement:*
Position Title: Java Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Client: State of Texas,
Duration: 3 months (may extend)**
* Descriptions:***
Worker(s) will create a new Java application (a rewrite of the current
PowerBuilder application), allowing Holders to enter their information on
the CPA website. Workers will collaborate with user community to ensure
that the application meets business requirements and meets NAUPA (National
Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators) requirements.
Worker(s) should proactively research and analyze issues and requirements,
and work closely with other technical staff. Conduct reviews of proposed
design and again after coding and unit testing of assignment. Worker(s)
will perform testing to verify that the development meets the business
requirements. Worker will adhere to and follow all IT templates and
standards. Performs other related work as assigned.
*WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:*
A. Must have work experience with Java based enterprise application
development
B. Perform Application analysis, design and programming in Java
Application
C. Perform Unit Testing and System Integration testing of applicable
changes based on the requirements or applications defect
D. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally on a variety of
business matters as required
E. Perform related work as assigned

information systems using an OO programming language

Hands on experience utilizing the Java J2EE

Hands on experience using open source libraries like STRUTS, ANT, LOG4J,
JUNIT and other apache open source libraries.

Hands on experience developing Java application using OR Mapping tools like
iBatis, Hibernate or other equivalent technologies.

Experience in designing and documenting system using UML

Experience with Integrated Development environment (IDE) such as Rational
Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse.

Experience constructing Workflow diagrams in collaboration with users
