*Title*: Senior Unix/Linux Engineer *Duration* – 6+ Months
*Location*: Atlanta, GA *Rate - $58/hr on C2C* *Description - * Needed Senior LINUX/UNIX System Administrator you will provide configuration, administration, security and troubleshooting/brainstorming for unique ideas and possible solutions for Linux and Solaris. This position will be supporting daily operation, maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting for high-performance operational and research computers on high-speed networks. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and be able to take on the position tasks quickly with limited initial training. 5+ years of related LINUX/UNIX systems administration experience is preferred. VM Ware experience is desired. Additional experience in/with the following is a plus: Apache/Tomcat, exposure to Oracle, experience dealing with hardware/software vendors as it relates to the build work. Candidate must be able to work as part of the team while also being able to take concepts or problems and work independently to resolve.
