The general tasks for the purpose of this contract are to re-design the Board’s existing website, including the following: 1. Review current structure and design elements. 2. Develop needed navigational structures to support current and ongoing programs. 3. Design and introduce creative and effective tools that fit within the State’s website guidelines. 4. Introduce new technologies that allow for greater interaction between VCGCB and its audiences. 5. Utilize in-house developed branding schemes. 6. Ensure all site/code/navigation and tools meet basic accessibility standards to create ease of use for disabled visitors. 7. Completed project should allow VCGCB staff to easily edit and make changes through industry standard web development software and associated technical abilities * * *REQUIRED GENERAL TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* - 5+ years in web development/design - 5+ years with coding language including HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
