*DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT TASKS / DUTIES*:

*_Task Description:_*
The Senior Remedy Systems Programmer is required to support
critical*Ombudsman applications* for the Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency (*OCC*), including changes and production support of the OCC Ombudsman
suite of applications. This position will work from DC in support of a Houston
based customer.
**
*_Duties:_*
Job Duty 1 Lead and perform complex installation and configuration of BMC
Remedy Tools in a highly customized environment that will involve compressed
timeframes, configuring to accommodate new products in different environments,
and satisfying complex business / technical requirements
Job Duty 2 Consult with customers and stakeholders to define needs and
sizings of Remedy software tools; plan for installation and configuration
specifications
Job Duty 3 Lead and perform the development and delivery of all required
Remedy technical solution documentation
Job Duty 4 Lead and perform the maintenance of Remedy tools for defects /
bugs / issues on level 3 trouble tickets; Perform support necessary to provide
enhancements or resolve application defects.
**
*_REQUIRED SKILLS:_*
Suppliers, please note these are the top technical skills that the Buyer
feels a candidate MUST have. General knowledge of basic office software such as
MS Office Suite as well as good communications skills are a given.
7-10 years of Remedy Developer and Administrator experience
Strong knowledge of Remedy Forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalations,
Menus, Guides, workflow, Reporting and other related components
Strong Knowledge of Remedy ARS, Incident Mgt, Problem Mgt, Knowledge Mgt,
Change Mgt, and Service Request Mgt modules version 7.1 7.5.
ITSM (Information Technology Suite Management) Should be a lot of the
same above
Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
Strong Remedy Customization and configuration background
Experience integrating Remedy with other applications
Experience with Distributive Server Options (DSO)
Ability to produce technical requirements based on user requirements and
design documentation that describes system requirements, performance criteria,
data flows, and end-user interfaces.
Good knowledge of Database structures and architecture (_SQL Server_).
