(2) Project Managers to support the Nortel Integration in the areas of Infrastructure and Desktop for one our our clients *Position: Project Manager (Infrastructure)* *Location: Westminster, CO Start: Immediate Length: 6 months contract* * * *Description: *Responsible for leading, planning, and managing a project team to accomplish the objectives of a project with limited, local objectives. Coordinates schedules and assigns project tasks. Maintains working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT. Reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets. With client management defines the objectives to be accomplished by the project team. Works with systems analysts, software designers and programmers to determine the best methods to achieve the projects objectives. Allocates staff and budget resources required to achieve project objectives. Organizes and guides project operations through the use of systems development and project management methodologies accepted by the industry. Evaluates progress and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects. Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support. Uses appropriate systems development methodologies to structure and organize the tasks to be completed by the team. With the team develops the project plan. Monitors and reports project status using established metrics against the plan. Reviews the teams' work products. Prepares staff performance evaluations. Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT. Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Typically requires 3 - 6 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
