*Position: Lotus Notes Developer* *Length: 6 Months * *Location: New York* *Duties and Responsibilities:* Under the direction and supervision of the Application Support Unit Head - Respond to queries from users on applications currently implemented and the ones that are eventually deployed; - Plan the training for staff tasked with using those applications; - Assist in the evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases in accordance with established configuration management standards; - Carry out backup, restore and database structural changes required during system upgrades; - Resolves, in a timely manner, tier-2 application issues and escalate tier-3 issues to designated focal points; - Assists in minor modification and enhancements of Lotus Notes Applications; - Develop and update of technical documentation and system reports; - Attend operational and other meetings, and perform other duties, as required *Qualifications*: - Completion of at least secondary school education - Good technical knowledge of Web-based software solutions with RDBMS back-ends and general knowledge of business applications. - Demonstrated knowledge of and work experience in Lotus Notes database Release 6/7/8 and MS SQL 2000/2005 - Familiarity with programming and trouble shooting in Lotus Notes database and T-SQL queries - Familiarity with .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>) will be an advantage. - Good organizational and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a team of diverse skills and cultures. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
