Position: EMC SAN Administrator
Location: Pittsburg, PA
Duration: 6 months
Job Requirement:
Responsibilities:
a.. Responsible for both US&S production SAN at the customer locations and
internally
b.. Work with IT team members and software engineers concerning SAN
administration issues, tuning, development and SAN architecture
c.. Small team leadership skills may be required on larger projects
Requirements:
a.. 5+ years as a EMC SAN professional managing and architecting SANS into a
24x7x365 production environment
Must have requirements:
a.. Bachelors degree in EE or CS
b.. Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities
c.. Experience with EMC distributed server platform software: PowerPath,
SRDF, Timefinder, SYMCLI, and EMC Control Center V5.2.
d.. Experience with EMC SAN hardware (Symmetrix, Centera, and Connectrix) and
related software products
e.. Able to design implement and maintain SRDF
f.. Experience with performance analysis on storage arrays and SAN to produce
optimal data layout.
g.. Able to train other team members on SAN and Storage administration
h.. Familiar with software life cycle development
Desired requirements:
a.. Knowledge of configuration and support of Brocade to Cisco 9513
directors.
b.. Visual Basic, CVS, ClearCase, Visio
