*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Senior Database Developer – Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Location : Jersey City NJ Duration : 7+ Month Contract Rate : OPEN The Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Developer will assist in the business analysis, implementation and support of interfaces for Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office systems. Thorough understanding of Oracle database application performance tuning, design, security scalability, analyze and troubleshooting problems and industry best practices for application development. Extensive experience in PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning products and utilities. Finance Services Software development background and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and PL/SQL are a must. *Job Duties/Responsibilities:* Analyzes functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Analyzes performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components. Design and develop Stored Procedures, Packages and batch loading process in Oracle. Provide programming and business analysis support for the design, development, and application testing Develop and review deliverables including requirement, design and test documents Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve technical database related issues. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of system development and maintenance, which includes: requirements gathering, system analysis and design, documentation, coding, testing, implementation, researching and resolving production problems and dealing with end users to resolve issues. *Must Have Skills: *6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses a good understanding of business requirements and IT strategies. Experience in data extract, migration, queuing, and replication facilities Analyzes functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Prepare project artifacts: LLD, test scripts, run books and other project documentation. Advanced SQL tuning skills.
