PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * 5 Years of total IT / BIDW Experience * 4 to 5 Years of Teradata Experience * Optional - Used a ETL Tool used alongwith Teradata as data source / Target * Used a Reporting Tool with Teradata as data source OTHER SKILLS: * Coordinate with technical resources and offshore team to complete deliverables * Academic qualification of MCA/ B Tech/MBA from a good college Responsibilities: * Architecting and designing data model, schema structures and indices (PI,SI,UPI,NUPI) for an enterprise data warehouse including reports * Thorough understanding of Teradata architecture, its specific SQL/BTEQ, and Teradata Tools & Utilities like BTEQ, FastLoad, fastExport, MultiLoad, TPump * Performed physical database operations like DWH optimization, query tuning, performance/databse tuning, data distribution, locks /deadlocks, database space management (space shortages, MVC) * Worked on Teradata programmable UDFs or Stored Procedures/Macros in Teradata SQL * Teradata v2r6 / v2r5 or TD 12 Master level certification.
