Client: Direct Confidential Location: Dallas, TX OR Memphis, TN Duration: Perm Position Job Title: Sr. Oracle ERP Consultant/Specialist Overview: To lead the evaluation of business problems and development of information systems (distributed and mainframe) solutions for customer service. To act as the customer service planning project manager in the design and prototyping of information systems for customer service. To plan customer service projects and ensure that project objectives are met through implementation. Position Information: Maintains a high level of expertise in the business matters of customer service and other areas, especially those related to current and potential interfacing systems. Coordinates and communicates customer service systems needs of the user area and systems development in the various projects which may arise. Serves as project manager in the development, administration, and systems design enhancements on distributed, mainframe or stand-alone systems involving customer service and other user areas. Maintains expertise in the standards and procedures of customer service information systems (distributed and mainframe) as they pertain to the development of systems to include analysis, documentation, design and development technologies and training. Supports the manager in work group administrative duties as manpower planning adherence to standards and quality. Serves in an advising capacity to various organization in matters pertaining to customer service complex automated systems, solutions and procedures. Assists customer service management in the determination of project, priorities through analysis of corporate priorities and return on investment. Serves in an advising capacity to the manager in matters pertaining to customer service projects, plans, standards, policies and procedures. Takes abstract concepts and provides business and system knowledge to solve problems (e.g. prototype development). Evaluates methodologies which lead to procedural and/or computer change requests for more reliable access to, and maintenance of the zip/ location database. Skills Needed: - Oracle EBS AR, GL, Advanced Collections – expertise in business functional configuration and/or development. - Oracle R12 experience. Preferences: Business and technical expertise in Oracle EBS. Preferably experience in large scale deployment of Oracle EBS R12 including AR, GL, and Advanced Collections modules. Expertise required in functional configuration, change management and business transformation. Also desired experience in large scale performance management solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business or other quantitative discipline. Seven (7) years professional experience in business systems or related field. Expertise in computer related techniques including modeling, project management, prototyping and simulation. Ability to direct a design and development project.
