Current Location: Visa: Rate: *Unix Engineer Columbus, OH 6 months + $32/hr on C2C MAX* A Unix Engineer's duties will include a combination of systems architecture, systems development, Unix/Linux/Solaris OS lifecycle development, technical assessments, implementation engineering, regression process development, SAN support from a directory standpoint, technology scaling, server builds, migration and/or transition planning, project planning, standards validation/development, technical documentation, presentation to management, training and mentoring of more junior staff, and troubleshooting and problem resolution. Additional Skills: - Solaris 10 Certified. Additional platform certification preferred. SME of Solaris/AIX core technologies (Sun Clusters, Veritas VM, HACMP).
