Should have exposure to IBM SOA Technology stack (WAS, MQ, Broker, WSRR, Datapower, Portal and IHS) Should have managed all enterprise architecture activities including administration, maintenance, security, optimization and capacity planning Should have strong IBM WebSphere administration knowledge Should have deep architecture and technology skills (tactical, hands-on) with Web Services design & standards (SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML, XML Schemas, XML Namespaces, XML-Encryption, XML Signature, XML-Addressing) Should have deep architecture and technology experience with SOA Principles, Patterns, Processes, Standards Should have exposure to web technologies Proactive and self motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, effective professional relationship and consensus building and facilitation skills *Responsibilities* Provide technical guidance to the team and act as single point of contact for all technical questions Participate in Customer Project Kick off meetings Participate in design discussions; recommend best practices & architecture design Review project documentations, participate in project review meetings Review and monitor technical implementations for the project Collaborate, communicate with different teams, and prioritize technical issues across teams Recommend and implement engineering best practices Suggest process improvements and automations for productivity gain. Participate in overall environment sizing to determine the appropriate physical and/or virtual server architecture. * Determine max number of nodes per OS instance * Test-to-Scale to determine the maximum capacity the application server stack can support Work interactively with customers, application teams, product owners & vendors for issue escalation and resolution Participate in evaluating new technologies and tools to meet customer / team needs. Recommend current industry trends to meet customer goals.
