Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Prefer locals) Duration: 2-3 months Interview: Telephonic, followed by in-person Start: Immediate Rate: $$ all inclusive * open Responsibilities: * SAP BI Architect/developer will analyze requirements and apply principles, concepts and techniques in developing solutions and strategies as they relate to Business Intelligence. * Develop/Enhance BI architecture by modeling, designing, developing, testing and implementing the appropriate Back End structures (including Info sources, ODSs, and Info Cubes) needed to meet business requirements. * Document the overall Architecture, Design, and Configuration of the SAP BW solution * Initiate proactive investigation, review, assessment, design and implementation of methods to improve existing processes, performance, security and data access. Assess existing and available data warehousing technologies and methods to ensure our BI architecture meets the needs of the business unit and enterprise and allows for business growth. Provide recommendations on evolution of the architecture. * Responsible for requirements gathering & analysis * Proactively identify opportunities to utilize BW to satisfy business requirements * Knowledge Transfer & User Training: * Create/Deliver end-user training * Share knowledge with BI team members to expand collective knowledge of group BI System * Administration/Support: * Prepare/Monitor/Troubleshoot/Test BI servers & BI tools (GUIs) for testing/production * Evaluate new/enhanced SAP BI functionality * Develop Business Intelligence (BI) Reports and Structures via various tools: BEx, BOBJ, BPC etc * Monitor system operations to verify: data loading completes successfully, transports are imported successfully, jobs are scheduled appropriately, data loads are initialized correctly, re-loading of data is handled correctly, user performance issues are resolved, etc. for multiple SAP BI servers in complex landscape (including ECC, BW, BPC, BOBJ, Portal, Duet, etc.) Requirements: * 5yrs. + SAP experience within a consulting environment * 6yrs.+ SAP BW / BI developer/Architect experience (BI 7 Certified preferred) including both backend cube development and front end reporting experience. * At least two to three full lifecycles of SAP BW implementation experience * Proven track record of architecting complex SAP BI/BW solutions * Good balance of experience in SAP BW Design, Architecture, Configuration, Modeling, data extraction and Reporting areas. * Cross functional knowledge of other SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, SCM) * Involvement with at least one information strategy program, awareness of Business Performance Management drivers for BI technology adoption * Experience of creating Dashboard reports, alerts, KPIs, matrics * Knowledge of Data warehousing principals and Best Practice solutions * Experience in BEx Analyzer and WEB Reporting as well as in Web application designer, Query Designer * Experience in integrating and extracting data from Source systems ECC 6.0, CRM, SD, MM, FI/CO, SCM (5.0) using Standard, Generic extractors and other tools. * Understanding of SAP's Business Objects product portfolio strategy * B.S. or an equivalent degree from an accredited university * Clear communication skills, ability to deal with high pressure environments If interested, kindly email me your updated resume with rate and contact information at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Thank you Manish Savale TELEDATA TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS Inc 2121, N.
