Title: Java/J2EE Developer with Healthcare (HL7) exp
Location: Yorktown Heights, NY.

Need two professional references from recent projects
Need a contract software engineer to support an ongoing project in healthcare
research starting immediately and lasting at least through this year with a
possible extension for a longer period if a new government ARRA related
proposal is successful.
Need the following skill set:
* Java
* J2EE
* CSS, JSP
* Eclipse IDE
* Tomcat
* Websphere
* Windows, Linux
* SVN (Subversion)
Masters in Computer Science preferred
IBM Band 7 or 8 experience
Benefit - fluent Spanish (spoken/written)
Benefit - HL7 knowledge
Job Introduction:
The software engineer will enhance an existing research prototype web
application capturing public health case reports and laboratory confirmed
reports of notifiable conditions for HL7 CDA standardization and IHE based
sharing of information within and across clinical and public health
organizations. Additional functions include Analysis, Reporting, and
Visualization of disease including Influenza and other virology/microbiology
conditions.
