Job Profile #2: Poly-Skilled QTP + Manual Tester Location : NY Duration : 4months Rate :$35 CTC Positions : 2 This position is for a multi-skilled QTP engineer who is willing and able to manually design and execute functional tests, then automate them in QTP. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4+ years of direct hands-on writing of vbscript (not just record and playback). Solid ability to use vbscript to do file access and database access. Ability to create tests from scratch with incomplete or missing requirements. Excellent communication skills. Basic familarity with the TOAD SQL query tool. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with descriptive programming, regular expressions, test frameworks, and add-ins. Good understanding of QA process. Quality Center. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4+ years of direct hands-on experience with modifying and executing Mercury LoadRunner test scripts in a client server environment. Ability to describe, plan, execute, debug, and report on different types of performance tests. Solid familiarity with parameterization, Virtual User Generator, Controller, Analysis and Monitoring, and LoadRunner’s own monitoring capabilities. Ability and willingness to conduct manual testing as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to perform manual as well as automatic correlation.
