SAP APO – SNP and PPDS Consultant * *Location: *India (Blueprinting and Go Live) and Manila,Philippines (SUKT and Integration Testing) *Start Date:* May 31 or June 7, 2010 *Duration:* Thru December 3, 2010 with extensions possible Only independent consultant, NO H1s or those who are willing to transfer H1. *Business Purpose: * SAP implementation, with the possibility of multiple Sales Organizations, Distribution Centers and Manufacturing Sites, this will be driven by local country business practices and legal requirements. The complex enterprise structure and tax laws in India raises the need of adjusting the consolidation process and to develop tools and reports to support this structure. Six Manufacturing sites and 27 Distribution centers also drive complexity in the supply chain with requirements to drive efficiency through the SAP implementation and deliver ongoing cost savings. *Skills Required:* - Strong configuration knowledge in SAP APO Demand Planning modules. - Strong configuration knowledge in SAP APO, SNP, and PPDS modules and Business Practices. - Sufficient knowledge of MM-Purchasing; Deployment planning including knowledge of DRP, MRP, and MPS. - Sufficient knowledge of all Forecast-To-Stock (FTS) Supply Chain business process preferably in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry. - Sufficient knowledge of SD and FI modules with integration touch points that impact on MM/PP to be able to perform testing in SAP (Sales and Distribution and Account posting for example) - Know how to conduct a blueprinting session - Ability to analyze initiate and complete tasks with little direction (basically a self starter) - Ability to track testing results, compare planned reporting to actual development to ensure reporting requirements will be met, and communicate results to Global Center Of Excellence (GCOE) process lead and host sites - Knowledge of MS-Excel and other tools *Responsibilities:* - Participate in blueprinting sessions and document the results - Assist with design of application development scripts to support country enhancements - Coordinate the process of developing custom Interfaces & reports for country specific Legal or Statutory requirements. - Test the reports to ensure results meet the necessary country tax/legal requirements. - Work with GCOE process lead, application development team, and host sites to correct errors noted during testing of reports as well as production support issues. - Documentation of results. - Support SUKT and Integration Testing across PP (APO) business processes. - Support Go-Live in India. Rate: Daily USD pay rate, plus travel expenses for travel outside Delhi.
