*DESIGN*
Design a two machine MSCS Cluster
Customer required pre-requisites include:
Virtual IP Address
SAN Storage
Login credentials (if work is to be performed remotely)
Task 2
*INSTALLATION & CONFIGURATION*
Install IBM Web sphere MQ on two cluster machines. =
Customer should provide installation software media or credentials to
download software from IBM
Passport Advantage software repository.
Configure IBM Web sphere MQ for MSCS.
Task 3 **
*DEVELOPMENT*
Custom development of Queue Manager.
Create Queue Manager for use with MSCS. ()
Integrate with and move Queue Manager to MSCS storage. (4 hours)
Place Queue Manager under MSCS control.
Create scripts and utilities.
Testing and demonstration of failover functionality.
Task 4
*KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER*
Provide knowledge transfer to client MQ administrator, for future deployment
by client staff.
Task 5
*PRODUCTION SUPPORT*
Support during go live in production environment.
Task 6
*PROJECT MANAGEMENT*
Project oversight by VSS employee:
Schedule & facilitate preparation meetings between Client and VSS
personnel
Provide single of contact for issues & escalations
Provide mechanism for scope tracking & adjustments
Assure communication & Customer satisfaction with VSS deliverables
Task 7
*DOCUMENTATION*
Prepare documentation on VSS deliverables, for use by client staff during
future deployments **
