Location: Dallas TX Duration: 12 Month *Job Description:* · Create/modify/test scripts from information provided by Engineering owners of middleware products that are widely used by all global regions and to test Symantec ESM policies. · Work with other teams to facilitate in handing off the policies for deployment to production servers *Required Technical Skills:* · Web middleware experience (iPlanet/Apache/Jrun/Weblogic/Websphere) · UNIX/WINTEL understanding (Win2k3/Solaris/RH Linux/AIX) · SYS V/RPM Packaging knowledge · WINTEL WRAP knowledge (hfnetchk etc) · Scripting experience [UNIX and DOS] · Database experience (Oracle/Sybase/DB2) · Experience with large scale integration and hosting environments *Non-Technical Skills:* · Strong customer and quality-focus is a must · Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required · Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills required · Excellent communication skills both written and oral required · Self starter and ability to work in a team environment · Hard working and self-motivated.
