Candidate must have a broad knowledge and experience with the core technologies used to render web sites and web applications. Must have working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles. Displays the ability to work and communicate equally well with lead developer, architects, project managers, business and QA analysts. Demonstrates hands-on expertise in J2EE technologies, specifically, Java, Websphere, Struts, JMS, JDBC, Oracle and Unix . Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. Utilizes object oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test software systems. Must have highly analytical skills and should be able to investigate and resolve problems on software products and systems. Identifies areas for code improvement and refactors the code.
