Position: LEAD SQL DBA with Sharepoint 2007
Location: Eagan, MN
Duration: 3 months
Local candidates only, F2F
Job Requirement:
a.. 5+ years experience as a SQL DBA.
b.. Must have strong and relevant SharePoint development experience.
c.. This project is a developing an online risk report for production assets
within the managed environment.
d.. Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal
business requirements or external customers.
e.. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
Description:
a.. The ideal candidate will be involved with the design, deployment and
integration of SQL database instances with SharePoint 2007 Standard.
b.. The project team is tasked with creating a SharePoint portal to display
information stored in a SQL backend database.
c.. The SharePoint site needs to be dynamic and integrated with other
corporate SharePoint sites.
Primary Objectives:
a.. Responsible for the integration of SharePoint and SQL server to generate
a dynamic SharePoint experience
b.. Responsible for the design and documentation of the integrated solution
c.. Create the presentation layer between a variety of in house tools, the
SQL backend database and SharePoint 2007 standard
d.. Evaluate and make recommendations to management for new and/or updated
tools and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Education
a.. BA or BS with 5+ years experience as a SQL DBA.
b.. Must have strong and relevant knowledge of SharePoint development.
c.. Technical Knowledge and Expertise
d.. SQL 2008
e.. SharePoint 2007 Standard, knowledge of integrating SharePoint webparts
f.. Experience with programming languages: .NET or other relevant languages
g.. Communication and Soft Skills
h.. Must be able to work independently with time-sensitive, competing server
deployment projects.
i.. Strong communication skills in interacting with management, engineers,
and business unit contacts.
Work Experience
a.. Required 3+ years as a SQL DBA, 3+ current and consecutive years of
SharePoint experience.
b.. ASP experience preferred
