This project requires self-starting, individuals who are capable of advanced IBM Data Stage development tasks and are comfortable working with large project team with tight deadlines. Major Responsibilities and Projects: Constructs ETL design specifications from data analysis and technical requirements. Builds, enhances, and deploys new and existing ETL using IBM Data Stage Enterprise Edition 8.1. Leads technical walkthroughs of DataStage ETL solutions for Design and Development peer reviews. Educates Quality Assurance and Operations staff on operational characteristics of developed solutions. Required Skills : Strong grasp of modern, job-relevant technology Ability to design, execute, and document unit test plans. Ability to quickly build domain and subject matter expertise. Positive, professional, solution driven attitude. Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-growth environment in a matrix team structure. Able to proactively identify problems and initiate remediation actions with slight direction. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Required Experience Bachelors degree; preferably in computer science or related field. Strong SQL skills including procedural languages (Oracle preferred). 5+ years IBM Data Stage Enterprise Edition development experience. 8.1 experience preferred.
