Title – Data Modeller Location – NJC Duration – Long term Contract # of Openings – 2 Start Date – Immediate Description: "Perform detailed data analysis. • Design conceptual data model. • Assist the DBA in converting the logical model(s) to physical . Map ETL requirements to specifications traceability. • Validate Unit Test Cases and ensure data elements are being properly tested. • Create System and Integration Test Cases and Test Data • Identify data requirements from the business requirements. • Interact with the ETL development team and remove any knowledge gaps that might exist. • Assist with source data analysis and profiling. • Assist in the development of Source to Client Mappings. Qualifications and Experience: • Ability to take a holistic view of the data and find out how it will tie back to the source systems. • Ability to clearly define data requirements to the ETL development, Functional, and Testing teams based on business requirements. • Ability to partner with a Business Analyst to understand the Business Requirements. • Ability to create logical data model definitions based on the Business Rules produced. • Ability to develop source to Client business rule mappings for the ETL development team. • Ability to articulate thoughts clearly in writing and during presentations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the development team, management, business users, other IT systems owners, and DA/DBA groups. • Ability to be self-motivating and perform in a dynamic environment. • A strong Team player.
