Location: Redmond, WA. Duration: 5+ months Job Responsibilities: The Report Developer will be part of a team to design and develop the reporting solutions with a focus on managed and ad hoc reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 (SSRS). An understanding of ETL and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is desired. This person is expected to have high proficiency in the analysis of report requirements and design and proven experience in delivering report solutions. This person should be comfortable working in a highly collaborative team environment and will work as part of the project build team. Requirements/Qualifications: . A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (this is especially needed for ad hoc report requirements gathering and coordination across teams/projects) including demonstrated understanding of OLAP concepts. . Proven ability to effectively interface with business users and define requirements. . 5+ years experience designing and developing enterprise reporting solutions. . 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, including expertise in managed report development/deployment and report server administration. . 5+ years SQL Server experience with emphasis on reporting stored procedures and views. . Experience modeling and querying complex hierarchies is preferred. . Proven ability to define and perform unit testing to ensure reports delivered to QA are stable. . Proven ability to manage concurrent and complex tasks on a regular basis. . Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability. . Excellent written and oral communication skills, follow-through and attention to detail. . Experience delivering solutions with iterative SDLC concepts and practices (e.g., Agile). . Experience with integration of Reporting Services with Microsoft CRM, SharePoint and Microsoft Office 2007 desired. . Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
