*Title* *:* Project Manager with Trading Desk *Location* *:* Reston, VA *Duration* *:* 6 Months *Description:* *The Role of the Project Manager will include:* • Act as a liaison between the project sponsor, the vendor-IQ Group, who will be implementing Open Text, and business & IT areas. • The Project Manager is not a decision maker but would ensure project dependencies, issues, and risks are understand and addressed in a timely manner. • Responsible for weekly and monthly status reporting • Maintaining the project’s schedule • Maintaining the project’s risk and mitigation plans • Develop and Maintain a communication plan in order to proactively communicate to business and IT the forward looking activities, (e.g. when the business area would be required to complete training, review data migration of their historical records, implement business process refinements to ensure records are accurately maintained in the records management framework). *Qualifications*: • Strong Project Management Skills, 5-7 years • Diverse Skill Set to include Records Management and Vendor Management, • Outstanding Facilitation and Communication Skills • Strong Writing and Reporting Skills • Ability to review and analyze information in order to identify and articulate the root cause(s). • Strong Business Process Acumen (to include: Trading Desk, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Business Intelligence, etc.) Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description: *Project Description:* The Office of Finance currently employs OpenText Document Management 6.01 as the records management solution and is considering moving to OpenText’s more recent release called Enterprise Content Manager. The Office of Finance is regulated by the FHFA which is proposing to enforce strict records management guidelines and therefore will require coordination with business areas to identify records, record categories and record retention schedule, (i.e. a records management framework). Once the records management framework is in place, business areas will begin the transition to the new records management framework.
