Job Description: 4+ month assignment Application Support and Development (at this client) is responsible for designing, implementing enhancements, new development and providing Tier-2/3 support for applications, systems and IT products required to enable their business objectives. What is expected for success in this role: * Performs application development enhancements using the syntax, structure, features and facilities of multiple programming languages and ready to adept standards as defined by their Solution Deliver Process * Develops clear and concise program specifications. * Perform various applications support effectively while meeting their specific service level agreement. What is expected of the candidate at this level in IT - Center of Expertise for functional success: * Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence and process skills to help internal/external customers and stakeholders identify and meet their high priority needs while considering cultural and diversity implications * Jointly develops practical implementation plans that consider cultural sensitivities with other accountable parties. * Encourages informed Risk-taking and acts as a catalyst for innovation; generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources. Accountabilities in this role: * Proactively develops, supports and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; * Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience * Minimum 3 years experience * Proficient with a PC - Windows, Word, Excel, e-mail, etc... * Excellent analytical & communications skills * *** Need Strong Development Focus *** * 3 years minimum with Java based application development - J2EE (2 years of experience), JSP, Spring and other Java frameworks like Struts, and Hibernate * 3-5 years of software development * Experience in IBM Content Manager is a must * Knowledge of enterprise content management * 2 years of SQL and relational database specifically DB2 experience is a plus. * WebSphere Application Server experience is a plus * Eclipse/RAD experience. * Web Service Development/Deployment is a plus * Good Experience of IBM Content Manager i.e. Server components, Item Types, icmrm. * Clear concepts of IBM Content Manager's Security and Data Models. * Working Knowledge in IBM Document Manager * Experience in KOFAX is added plus * Knowledge of II4C libraries sdk and cmb beans.
