Role: Data Warehouse ETL Lead
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: San Diego, CA
Description:
Involved in Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) project to incorporate data from
SAP into existing data warehouse.
Reports to data warehouse application manager.
Responsible for working with business and technical teams to provide design
and approach to implementing and incorporate SAP data into data warehouse.
Must be available onsite in San Diego.
Starting 6 month contract (may be extended depending on performance/budget)
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience with data modeling and ETL development (in data
warehouse environment)
Must have experience with coordinating and leading offshore development
Proven experience developing and executing test cases and scripts on complex
data warehouse projects that involve multiple flat file and database
sources.
Must be able to produce functional and technical designs
Must demonstrate understanding of DW best practices, architecture, and
design
Must demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into data models
Experience with Oracle, Toad, SQL+, Erwin and Informatica required
SAP and ERP experience/understanding preferred
Strong demonstrated SQL skills
Self starter; must be self-directed and able to manage time/deliverables
Good communication skills including ability to present to all levels of
management
