Solaris admin at TX FOR 4+ MONTHS ( POSIBILE EXTENSION IS THERE) Seeking a Senior Solaris Systems Administrator with five or more years experience with *Sun Solaris Systems. Experience in creating and troubleshooting complex Boerne and K-Shell scripts. Perl*. *Hands on experiences with open source systems monitoring tools such as Hobbit, xymon, Big Brother, or Nagios and adding additional monitoring scripts through scripting*. *Experience with Solaris O/S patching and Firmware patches and establishing methodologies for patch rollouts*. Experience with additional Solaris implementation of *Zones, LDOMS, ZFS filesystems, storage pools, snaps, clones, and containers*. Experience with *Symantec Storage Foundation Suite, Solaris Disk Suite, Volume Manager, and Veritas Clusters*. *I3, Wily, ITCAM. Experience with setting up Secure File Transfer Methods for data transfers using SSL-FTP or SFTP*. *Experience troubleshooting Network related issues and the administrator needs to have a solid understanding of vlans, routers, switches, firewalls, and access control lists.* Strong Troubleshooting and Problem Identification Skills are needed to assist teams with problem resolution.
