Position: SQL Developer / BI Developer Location: New York Duration : 12 months + Rate : $50/ Hr Responsibilities Understand and interpret business requirements and develop solutions to fit those requirements in a project environment Design and develop Business Intelligence applications using Microsoft SSRS and SSAS, Performance Point Dashboard designer, ProClarity and Strategy Companion, SQL Server 2005 or 2008, SSIS or other ETL packages Participate in weekly meetings and maintain daily communication with users to compile comprehensive requirements information, provide recommendations and solutions Translate knowledge from user's interaction to generate and maintain proper documentation Perform system testing/QA, facilitate UAT sessions with users and follow change management process Migrate system changes to production and provide post-production support Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management * * * *Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of work experience required Two to seven years of development experience in web-based, user facing Business Intelligence applications using Microsoft SSRS and SSAS, Performance Point Dashboard designer, ProClarity and Strategy Companion Two to seven years of experience in development of ETL packages, OLAP and MDX Strong technical experience in data warehousing, data management, data modeling and end user tools _________________________________________________________________ Warm Regards, Brian Brooks [email protected] 973-893-7411 Astron Consulting Inc. *
