Computer Game AI
The University of Paisley offers a PhD studentship in
the application of probabilistic modeling in computer
games. Specifically the student will concentrate on
opponent modeling in games of incomplete information
which are changing dynamically.
The studentship will be funded for three years at
£10500 per annum + fees (EU student fees only). The
student will work under the supervision of Dr Chao He
in the School of Computing. Students should hold a
good first or upper second class honours degree (or
overseas equivalents) in a numerate discipline,
ideally with a solid grounding in probability theory
or artificial intelligence, and having good practical
programming skills.
