"Asia-Pacific is increasingly becoming a strategic investment
region for
Marvell due to our growing customer base and outsourcing partners
Singapore is a natural choice for Marvell as it offers all the

vibrant
enterprise ecosystem, the world class research institutes that foster
a
knowledge and research-based economy, and the talent pool that can be
drawn
upon for Marvell's cutting-edge technology design center.
Mr. Teo Ming Kian, Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development

said, "We are honoured to have Marvell, one of the world's top 10
fabless
semiconductor companies, use Singapore as the heart of its
Asia-Pacific
operations. Marvell's plans to expand its design centre and to set up
an IC
test facility is a strong testimony to Singapore's strong
semiconductor
manufacturing and circuit design capabilities."

Marvell has Asia-Pacific operations in Singapore, Malaysia, China,
Japan,
Taiwan and India. Marvell Singapore operations were first established

circuit (IC)
design teams, sales and technical support.

Currently employing over 200 people at its New Tech Park facilities
in
Singapore, Marvell's headcount is planned to increase to more than
