My rusty spanish is still trying to decode this, but the Spanish government
released a report that 34% of Spanish homes have Internet access, about 2/3
of which are broadband.

Madrid is the most wired, at 45.4% Internet penetration (which would work
out to about 30% broadband penetration for all households, probably a bit
higher as most broadband lines are probably in the cities)

There are a pile of municipal-level statistics at
http://www.ine.es/inebase/cgi/um?M=%2Ft25%2Fp450%2Fa2005s2&O=pcaxis&N=&L=0

But you'll need some decent espaƱol to make sense of it

I smell multiple-regression dissertation topic
