CALL FOR PAPERS

EuroPLoP(tm) 2005 - 10th year of the major European patterns conference

        6th - 10th July 2005
        Irsee, Bavaria, Germany

EuroPLoP(tm) is the European member of the PLoP(tm) conference series.
The focus at EuroPLoP is on learning, discussion and reflection about
patterns. The
conference offers a variety of workshops that allow you to learn about
patterns, to receive feedback on your own patterns, and to discuss
patterns with fellow pattern enthusiasts. To this end, we would welcome
papers that fall into any of the following categories:

Short papers containing one or more patterns that are ready for
peer review in a Writers' Workshop.

Longer pattern languages or sequences that are ready for in-depth
peer review in a Pattern Language Workshop.

Draft pattern material that can be enhanced through an
Individual Workshop where an experienced pattern author helps
            you to polish your material.

Focus group proposals. Focus groups are usually free-format
discussion groups or workshops which bring together people who
are interested in a challenging topic related to patterns.

Papers about the use of patterns. Such papers would typically be
pattern case studies or papers on applying patterns from pattern
            practitioners.

If you would like to contribute to the conference and improve your own patterns or enhance your understanding of patterns by submitting a paper, then please note the following dates:

Deadline for submissions: 25th February 2005

Start of shepherding: 11th March 2005

Notification of acceptance: 20th May 2005

Conference drafts due: 13th June 2005

"Wisdom, justice, compassion, integrity"
(The four words engraved on the mace of the Scottish
Parliament which seems to sum things up nicely)
