A Mini-PLoP at OOPSLA ‘07

On Sunday, October 21, a full-day bootcamp will be offered by Bob Hanmer
and Linda Rising followed by a day of writers' (and writing) workshops
on Monday, October 22, led by Bob Hanmer, Linda Rising, and Joe Yoder.

Bootcamp attendees want to learn more about patterns and pattern
writing. Writing workshop attendees have papers that are ready for
workshop feedback or, in the case of a writing workshop, have papers
that need coaching.

Writers’ workshops will bring together authors of papers in software
development who wish to have feedback from collaborative peers.
Attendees will participate in a writers' workshop of their papers as
well as writers' workshops for papers of other attendees in their group.
Participants who do not have a paper to workshop are also invited, but
everyone will be expected to read all the papers in their groups in
advance.

We are also inviting papers for “writing” workshops. The authors of
these papers are looking for writing coaching for ideas that are not
fully developed.
