Position : J2EE Architect Location : Dallas, TX Duration : Long term Rate : Open Start Date: Immediate No. Of Positions: 2 Experience Level: 8 - 10 Yrs *Job Description:* Job Roles / Responsibilities: Specific Job Responsibilities: Includes the following but not limited to: - Acts as SME in the plan and design of new solutions. - Serves as the highest level technical expert in solution architecture for software development and other teams at the program level. - Develops and drives short and long term architecture strategy for the overall project and other key business segments. - Develops technical strategy for the program and acts as key technical contact point for all architecture decisions within a given program. - 7-10 years of experience in development of J2EE applications, including a grip on project management techniques and solid understanding of day to day development activities. - Ensures the appropriate levels of architecture reviews are conducted. - Advises teams on standard requirements, security standards, methodology and processes. - Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues. - Assessing architectural choices and the risks or trade-offs associated with those choices. - Knowledge in core technologies, including enterprise platforms, open standards, security frameworks, database, business intelligence, and integration technologies. - Practical experience leveraging agile and iterative life-cycle methods for solutions development. - Expert knowledge of relational databases, including schema design. - Wireless/Telecom domain knowledge is a plus.
