Inspiron-inc is not responsible for F2F interview expenses *Job Description: * The Business Analyst will help define solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues and play an important role defining business needs and solutions. This includes analysis of business user needs, documentation, validation and traceability of requirements. DHS is looking for individuals with human services and program eligibility experience backgrounds. The work includes visual prototype design, requirements capture, application development sessions, test preparation, data analysis and documentation. The position will support multiple project teams and will work closely with other Business Analysts. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: *Collaboration and Communication: * This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills. This position will interface with multiple parts of the organization including Programmers, Field Staff, Policy Analysts, and Managers. They will present evaluation of alternatives and recommendations to the Project Leadership Team for the purpose of determining and agreeing upon the best resolution. Must be able to track progress and notify management of issues that require escalation. Provide information and guidance to the business representatives to ensure the approved requirements will achieve business objectives. Must be expert in business process knowledge to make technical and non-technical material understandable to business units. Support and participate in visual design prototyping of web-based applications. Supports web-design and user-interface layout for public and internal web based solutions. Provide assistance to the Technical Development team in understanding the requirements and resolve any project conflicts. Assumes responsibility for the resolution of system and process issues and work with the appropriate technical and subject matter experts to provide a solution. Develops project documentation including requirements specifications, user stories, test scenarios, design documents, and test plans methodologies in use by the project team. Must be able to plan and perform testing, including documenting test conditions, expected results, and test validation. Responsibility may include test data setup and coordination of effort and resources/testers throughout unit, system, and user acceptance testing. *Required Experience and Skills: * · 8+ years of professional experience gathering, documenting, and validating requirements and design of software applications with rich user interfaces on a variety of technology platforms; · 4+ years of experience translating requirements into applications or dynamic websites; · 2+ years experience working with developers on object-oriented design OOD, Data mapping and modeling, Application development, and taking projects through an entire release lifecycle; · Experience testing web applications; · Excellent written and verbal communication skills; · Process oriented, logical thinker; · Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem solving skills; · Prior experience on Internet web-based development projects; · Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts; · Strong presentation and consultative skills; · Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Visio or other process or flow chart tool (Axure, iGrafx, etc). *Desired Experience and Skills: * · Professional experience in human services organizations as it relates to developing client eligibility programs; · Implementation of medical eligibility systems for programs such as: · Medicaid, SCHIP State Children's Health Insurance.
