Identify and analyze business requirements to propose, develop and implement technical solution.*** *. Document technical requirements and specifications for the technical solution.*** *. Create new interface connectivity between different systems based on the business/project requirements.*** *. Tuning the procedures and queries.*** *. Handling PL/SQL Compile-Time, Runtime Errors, and Debugging stored procedure for business logic modification, responding to system events through triggers.*** *. Modifying triggers, functions, procedures to accommodate on going changes in business logic, Creates scripts to automate manual tasks using oracle built-in packages. *** *. Managing tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and enforcing business rules with integrity constraints, selecting an index strategy to perform the query better and scale application well in large scale transactions.*** *. Create program/data conversion between different systems based on the project requirements*** *. Provide progress reporting on issues resolution and systems enhancement initiatives*** *. Maintain current on technologies, releases and "best practices" among Oracle user group community.*** *. 10 - 20% of time will be spent delegating work to and managing other less experienced system analysts.*** * * *Knowledge and Experience:*** *. Must have Five to Ten years experience working in Oracle Apps including one full cycle project implementation.*** *. Oracle Table Knowledge - Applicable Oracle table knowledge in the core modules of Oracle Applications including but not limited to: Financial, Distribution, and Manufacturing applications.*** *. Programming Language - Is well versed with PL/SQL and can create real time calls using two of the programming languages: PL/SQL, Java, J2EE, and JSP.*** *. Oracle Technical Knowledge - Ability to create and/or modify using various tools for; Oracle Queries, Reports, XML Publisher, Interfaces, Forms, Triggers, Alerts, Conversions, Workflow, BPEL, and Applications.*** *. Integration Touch Points - Thorough knowledge of the integration touch points of various applications including knowledge of Application Programmable Interfaces (API's) and workflows that support the integration.* ** *. Oracle Application Knowledge - General knowledge of at least two application areas including functionality, reports, and concurrent requests.
