Hi, Role: Middle Office C++/Java Developer Location: New York Duration: 6 Months Rate: open Technical Skills 7+ years of professional development experience 4+ years of programming experience in C/ C++ Experience in both C/ C++ and Java would be ideal Experience of implementing systems using Tibco RV Proficient with relational databases Learn and develop in SecDb Strong analytical skills and organizational abilities Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Business Knowledge Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and markets Emphasis on Commercial Paper would be ideal 3+ years working in Front- or Middle Office technology environment Responsibilities Develop - Manage life cycle of small projects from gathering business requirements, design discussions, task planning, development, testing and rollout. Understand existing and new business/technology flows and code structure and provide documentation when necessary. Analysis * Liaise with operations users and other technology groups to determine development requirements, specifications and priorities. Support * resolve operations production issues; this includes resolving trade processing issues, both system and workflow related.
