*QA Automation Engineer with C and VB script*
Location: CO (Need face to face after telephonic)
Duration: 3 Months+
Position Description: The *Quality Assurance Automation Engineer* is
responsible for developing and executing automated functional and
performance tests using automated test tools to quality assure new or
modified applications/systems, *primarily in a web-based environment.* The
position requires specialized technical knowledge and extensive experience
in *QuickTest Professional, LoadRunner/Performance Center, and VB scripting.
* The engineer analyzes potential system modifications, creates test plans,
designs test systems, and analyzes test results The candidate must
demonstrate in-depth understanding of the SDLC, quality assurance concepts,
and manual and automated testing techniques.
The position requires software development skills using C and VB scripting,
web application testing experience, broad technical knowledge, strong
problem solving abilities, and effective verbal and written communication
skills. This position requires a college degree, preferably in Computer
Science, or equivalent experience and at least three years practical
experience in development/scripting experience and software test automation.
Experience developing test harnesses is a plus.
