*Description*: This is a position within Prime Brokerage for development on
an existing, but relatively new browser -based application using
ASP.NETAjax (C#). Must have extensive experience building advanced
GUI's using the
aforementioned technology.
The application displays data from a number of backend systems (connect via
web services), in many cases, the data to be displayed is large. *Performance,
stability, and a deep understanding of building thin-clients in .Net is
required.
*Primary responsibility is to build out the application. Resource must be
able to guide/mentor junior developers and partner well with other
technology teams.

*Requirements*:
Four year degree (BA/BS) or international equivalent in IT, Economics,
Engineering, Math or Business
Minimum 7 years experience in end to end full SDLC development
Minimum 5 years experience in end-to-end software development experience
building browser-based GUI applications (ASP) on the .NET framework
Minimum 3 years experience in working on large-scale, global projects with
multiple systems integration points
Minimum 3 years experience in Telerik Ajax
Minimum 3 years experience with Webforms
Minimum 3 years experience in strong architecture design and MS
infrastructure (IIS, load balancing, etc.) knowledge as it applies to .NET
GUI development
*Preferred Qualifications*: 13-15 years experience in end to end full SDLC
development is preferred
The current application was built on this framework (.NET 2.0) in C# and
also uses MS AJAX.
General understanding of Java and Linux/Unix environments
Some Project Management experience
Experience working on large-scale, global projects with multiple systems
integration points
Understanding databases and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase)
