When trying to connect to an Openfire Jabber server at work using empathy (with telepathy-gabble underneath), I get this in the debug output:
... (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: connection_status_changed_cb: adding callbacks (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: connection_ssl_cb: called: The certificate can not be trusted. (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: connection_ssl_cb: called: The server hostname doesn't match the one in the certificate. (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: get_reply_cb: failed: server requires information (email) that Gabble can't supply (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: registration_finished_cb: failed (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: registration_finished_cb: err_code = 3, err_msg = 'server requires information (email) that Gabble can't supply' (telepathy-gabble:2658): tp-glib/connection-DEBUG: tp_base_connection_change_status: was 1, now 2, for reason 3 (telepathy-gabble:2658): tp-glib/connection-DEBUG: tp_base_connection_change_status: emitting status-changed to 2, for reason 3 (telepathy-gabble:2658): gabble-DEBUG: gabble_roster_close_all: closing channels ... Is there any way to provide this?
