You can start with the reference project, just go to

http://code.google.com/p/aost/downloads/list

to download the reference projects, unzip the project and load the project
into your IDE such as
Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Netbeans. Then following the guide on

http://code.google.com/p/aost/wiki/ReferenceProjectGuide
